Join Viking Arms at DVD2024
On 18th and 19th September 2024, Viking Arms will join leaders in the Land Equipment sector at UTAC Millbrook for two days of dynamic engagement through informal discussions, briefings, demonstrations, and displays.
DVD2024, jointly Sponsored by Defence Equipment & Support (Land Equipment) and Army Headquarters, will focus on delivering a more modern, lethal, and productive Army, forming military partnerships, and driving investment into UK industry via the Land Industrial Strategy. This event will emphasise learning from current conflicts and swiftly adapting procurement priorities to accelerate the Future Soldier program. Industry collaboration will leverage science and technology to develop next-generation capabilities, meeting the requirements of a contemporary, lethal army.

Viking Arms Showcase
The Viking Arms team will exhibit cutting-edge C-UAS equipment from SMARTShooter, the Dronebuster from Flex Force, the latest firearm technology from Glock and Meduza, an electro-optical scanning system dedicated for drone recognition engineered by ThirdEye Systems, plus many more. Our team will be on-site to engage with MOD and DE&S staff to highlight equipment for Defence Accelerators and to address land and system requirements. Discussions with Army Headquarters personnel will help identify capability gaps and user requirements, showcasing potential systems or solutions.

With over two decades of legacy, the biennial Defence industry exhibition DVD is THE event for Defence industry, DE&S Delivery Teams, Army HQ, and Defence community users of Land Equipment. Held at UTAC Millbrook since 2003, DVD is jointly sponsored by Defence Equipment & Support (Land Equipment) and Army Headquarters. The event serves as an essential forum for developing ideas, understanding technologies, capabilities, and requirements. Scheduled between the biennial DSEI show, DVD is a pivotal event in the Defence calendar, promoting coordinated engagement through discussions, briefings, demonstrations, and live displays. Stakeholders from across the MOD are invited to broaden perspectives and encourage innovation.
